Höfner H65/36LH Beatle Bass LH Pickguard and H65/36MBN Mounting Bracket
Genuine Höfner replacement pick guard and nickel plated mounting bracket installed since 2001 on left-handed V62/V63/V64 German made Beatle Basses.

While these pick guards may also be suited for vintage Höfner basses produced prior to 2001, they will probably require some cutting and fitting to match your pickup surrounds or to adjust for the slight differences in where the pickups were mounted on your bass by the factory. The same applies to those wanting to install this pickguard on a modern Höfner Contemporary Beatle Bass.

NCM-215-2 "Tea Cup" Control Knob

H909/15 Genuine Höfner Creme with Shiny Gold Cap, aka "Teacup" Knob - Set of Two Knobs - Designed for splt shaft knurled pot shafts. This knob will fit on most German made Höfner basses in addition to the Ignition, Icon and Contemporary Series basses. This is not the "knock off" or copy cat control knob. This is the genuine German made Höfner item.

Some Höfner Beatle basses produced in the 1960s and 1970s have 1/8" shafts on their volume potentiometers. These knobs will not fit on these basses.

H65/37 Genuine Höfner Bass Truss Rod Cover for V62, V63 and V64 Basses - About
1 1/16" wide and 1 3/4" long. Please see lower photo at left for size and approximate mounting hole locations. Mounting hole placement may vary from the photo above, mounting screws are not included.

IMPORTANT: It is important to understand that the mounting holes on this truss rod cover will probably not line up with the screw placement of a Hofner Contemporary, Ignition or vintage Hofner bass truss rod cover. If you wish to install this truss cover on a Hofner Icon, Contemporary or vintage Hofner guitar or bass, expect that you will have to drill new holes for the mounting screws. Please refer to the second photo above for the specific dimensions of the Hofner H37/63 plastic truss rod cover.

H69/8 Hofner Plastic Strap Button with Screw

Two Höfner H69/8 Hofner Cream Plastic Strap Buttons with Screws
Strap buttons are ahout 9/16" diameter, 3/8" tall. Höfner supplied mounting screws are included.

Many have installed these strap buttons on Höfner HCT 500/1 and HCT500/2 Contemporary Series instruments and HI-BB Ignition/Icon Series instruments. A pilot hole of appropriate diameter, drilled to the full depth of the screw, is necessary to prevent screw breakage upon installation. We also recommend you lubricate the screw with a little soap prior to installation. If in doubt, we recommend you consult a trained guitar tech for assistance.
